What is RJ45?

What is CAT6?

Back in 2002, the Electronic Industries Association and Telecommunications Industry Association (EIA/TIA) jointly manufactured the cable. Whereas Cat6 is an abbreviated form of Category 6 and was implemented in 2018. It is a twisted-pair cable well-known for Ethernet-based computer networks. Following Cat5e and Cat5, it is more convenient because it produces less noise and crosstalk.

Also, in terms of its performance, the cable can transport networks at speeds up to 10 Gbps and has a standard bandwidth of 250 MHz. Due to the high frequency, Cat6 is the best-twisted pair cable for transferring data at a faster rate.

3. After many reports of crosstalk and lengthy systems, CAT5 was replaced by CAT6, where RJ45 was the connector for Ethernet running smoothly.

4. RJ45 provides a speed of 1 Gbps per second, while CAT6 provides a 10 Gbps network connection within a limited range.
